This area is divided into three parts: Diagon Alley (Universal Studios, FL), Ministry of Magic (Epic Universe, FL) and Hogsmeade (Islands of Adventure, FL). Universal Studios, CA hosts a Hogsmeade also.

In Diagon Alley, you can explore shops like Ollivanders, where you can witness a wand choose its wizard. The highlight here is the Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts ride. This thrilling ride takes you through the vaults of Gringotts Bank, featuring stunning visuals and exciting twists.

Ministry of Magic, you can experience a Fantastic Beats setting and immersive circus/puppet show, Le Cirque Arcanus. Outside you can pick up an iconic butter beer, our favourite is the frozen one and also ride the immensely amazing Harry Potter and the Battle of the Ministry with cinematic scenes and animatronics, you enter via the Metro Floo which is a moment in itself.

Hogsmeade, on the other hand, offers the iconic Hogwarts Castle. The Forbidden Journey ride inside the castle is a must-try. You will soar above the castle grounds and encounter magical creatures along the way.

All areas are filled with delicious treats, like Butterbeer and pumpkin pasties, making it a perfect spot for fans of all ages.

Jurassic Park: The Ride

If you are looking for an adrenaline rush, head over to Jurassic Park: The Ride. This attraction is based on the popular film franchise and offers a thrilling boat ride through a dinosaur-filled jungle.

As you navigate the waters, you will encounter life-sized animatronic dinosaurs that will make your heart race. The ride culminates in a dramatic drop that will leave you soaked and screaming for more.

Don’t forget to check out the Jurassic Park Discovery Center, where you can learn more about dinosaurs and even see some interactive exhibits.

The Isle of Berk: How to train your dragon

This world has got to be our personal favourite in any Universal Park. This world is part of the Epic Universe theme park and oh wow, you've never seen anything like this. Isle of Berk is fully immersive, the theming, sounds, characters that walk around, opportunities to meet the dragons up close with a meet and greet section with the animatronic, Toothless and the Untrainable Dragon puppet show... breath-taking.

Our favourite ride here was Hiccups Wingliders and it is not to be missed, add this to your must do & thank us later. Explore the snacks and be sure to pick up a mac n cheese cone.

Transformers: The Ride 3D

Transformers: The Ride 3D is another attraction that should be on your list. This ride combines 3D technology with motion simulation to create an exhilarating experience.

You will join the Autobots in a battle against the Decepticons, feeling every twist and turn as you fight to save the world. The special effects and immersive storytelling make this ride a standout attraction.

Make sure to keep an eye out for the impressive queue area, which features life-sized Transformers and interactive displays.

Volcano Bay

You will find this thrilling and fun waterpark in Orlando alongside Universals parks included in most tickets from the UK however they do also offer after hours events where you can dance with Shrek and Fiona on pool side.

The most popular ride here is their 'water coaster' Krakatau which can see long wait times but well worth it. There are 2 forms of lazy rivers, one is a jacket based float with a wave machine. You'll absolutely have an awesome day here

The Simpsons Ride

For a more lighthearted experience, check out The Simpsons Ride. This attraction takes you on a wild adventure with Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie.

The ride is a motion simulator that puts you in the middle of a chaotic theme park adventure. You will laugh and scream as you encounter various characters from the show.

The surrounding area also features Krusty Burger, where you can grab a bite to eat, and Moe’s Tavern, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink.

This attraction is perfect for families and offers a great way to enjoy the world of The Secret Life of Pets.

• Early Access: Get to the park before it opens to enjoy popular attractions with shorter wait times. We made the most of this and we were able to visit 1 hour before opening and experienced an empty park walk through as well as a walk on for Mario Kart, Universal Studios Hollywood. It is an extra on top of your park ticket.

  
  

• Use the Universal App: Download the Universal Studios app for real-time updates on wait times, show schedules, and dining options.

  
  

• Consider Express Passes: If you want to skip the lines, consider purchasing Express Passes for popular attractions. There are selected hotel stays that will include this as part of your stay.

• Please note, Universal parks mainly operate with a 'bag in locker' policy and a lot of rides you are asked to place them into the lockers. Epic Universe is the best park for this and you can, for free fit larger bags however the rest of the Universal parks do operate with the smaller lockers free, larger ones are payable so be careful with what you pack/take with you for the day.
